Uganda's tropical surprise.
Mananasi takes its name from the Swahili word for pineapple, and the cup lives up to it. It's grown between 1,600 and 1,900 metres in Kyanza, Uganda, and naturally processed. It opens with tropical fruit and pineapple, moves through grape and dried fruit, and settles into a smooth chocolate finish. The texture is creamy, the acidity balanced and the sweetness generous. Proof that some of Africa's most exciting coffees come from where you least expect them.
